Safari day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south along with the central Kenya Highlands and arrive at Samburu Sopa lodge in time for lunch. You can spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing before we set off for an evening game drive, your first taste of wildlife encounter. The Samburu National Reserve is also the home of Namunyak, a lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves.

Safari Day 2: Samburu National Reserve

We will depart for another morning drive after breakfast and return to the lodge for lunch followed by swimming, visiting Masai village, and relaxation. Late afternoon, we will set off this time for an evening game drive until sunset to witness the serenity of this park.

Samburu National reserve exudes a peaceful aura that attracts animals and mainly because of Ewaso Ng`iro river (meaning brown water) that runs through it and surrounded by Thorne acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation. The Ewaso Ng`iro flows from the Kenya highlands and empties into the famous Lorian Swamp.

Safari Day 3: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then head out for an early morning game drive on your journey (approximately 5 hours) to Nakuru town. Stop off at Nyahururu for your lunch, enjoy the scenery along the way. After check-in at Lake Nakuru Lodge then proceed for your game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Safari Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park- Masai Mara

After Breakfast check out of the lodge. Experience a morning game drive as we travel approximately 4 hours to Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way have a chance to stop and visit Lake Naivasha. Arrive and check in at Sopa lodge for lunch, relax, siesta then proceed for a sunset game drive.

Safari Day 5: Masai Mara Full Day Game viewing

After breakfast depart for a full day spent, viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have optional opportunity to visit Masai village to witness the singing and high jumping dance that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Safari Day 6: Masai Mara- Nairobi

After breakfast has a sunrise game drive exiting the park. Lunch will be served en route. You will also visit a souvenir market (in time allows). Later in the afternoon arrive in Nairobi where your safari ends

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
